It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tiburcio Padron Bravo on February 26, 2024, in Boise, Idaho. Tiburcio Padron Bravo was born on August 11, 1950, in Labor Vieja, San Luis Porosi, Mexico. He was baptized Catholic by his parents as a child. He had seven siblings and was the oldest of the siblings. His siblings include Delia Padron Bravo Maria Jesus (Joel) Rangel Padron, Adan Padron Bravo (deceased). Tiburcio married and had five children with Ofelia Rangel- De Castillo.
Tiburcio at the age of 19 served one year for the Ejercito Mexicano Zona Militar armed forces completing his service on December 7, 1969. Then in 1980, he brought his four children to the United States for a better life, he had one more child his daughter in Idaho. Tiburcio settled his family in Ashton, Idaho. Tiburcio, also known as, “Bucho” to close friends and family, spent time taking his young children camping, fishing, and visiting Yellowstone National Park,. He worked in timber, agriculture, and dairy.
His greatest pastimes were spent fishing the lakes, rivers, and reservoirs. He also enjoyed traditional Mexican home cooked meals, watching rodeos, action movies, and Spanish television, listening to music, and keeping up with the news and weather. He had a hobby of collecting coins, pocketknives, and belt buckles. Tiburcio liked to stay active through his employment or at home working on yard work, gardening, and home improvements. He picked up the English language quite well after moving to the United States. He also was self-taught in car mechanics; he would always change his own motor oil.
Tiburcio was a hardworking man that taught each of his children the value and ethic of being a self-sufficient, independent individual. It was due to the sacrifices of Tiburcio Padron Bravo, that each of his children would find success in their own version. He was an extremely proud grandfather, and father. He loved all his family and extended family. Tiburico spent the last years reconnecting with his sisters, making new friends, and enjoying time with his daughter Daneyra Padron after the separation from his wife.
He is survived by spouse whom he was separated from Ofelia Rangel; children Jorge Padron, Maribel Padron, Cindy Padron, Ofelia (Robert) Andrews, Daneyra Padron. Grandchildren Gabriel Padron, Marlena Padron, Miavella Andrews, Gabriel Andrews, and Noelle Vides. Siblings Meliton Padron, Felix Padron, Audelia Padron, Maria de Jesus Padron and Alejandrina Padron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fortino Padron and Natividad Bravo, and brothers Pedro Padron, and Adan Padron.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. John’s Cathedral with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. A committal service will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise, Idaho. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bowmanfuneral.com .
