Theresa Marie Kethler, age 59, whose sharp wit, kindness, and life-long mission of serving others will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to have known her, passed away peacefully of natural causes. She was born in Woodland, CA, to Drs. Lutz and Margretta Kethler.
Theresa is survived by her mother, Margretta Kethler; her sister, Paula Hoyt, and her husband, Jeff; and her sister, Emily Kethler.
In 1988, Theresa graduated from Eastern Oregon University, which led to a 35-year career in banking and investments.
Throughout her accomplished life, Theresa was passionate about many things. She had a deep love for tennis, enjoyed watching movies, and found joy in nature. Above all, she loved her clients along with dedicating much of her time volunteering, striving to make a positive impact on the Treasure Valley community that she cherished. Theresa served as the Director of Boss Lifts, which helps familiarize area employers with the National Guard’s role in national defense. She was an integral member of Partners in Education with area elementary and high schools, active in Boise Southwest Rotary, and helped raise funds for Riverstone International School and Zoo Boise.
Theresa is now reunited with her beloved father, Lutz Kethler. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
