On December 30th, 2022 our loving husband, father, and grandfather, while surrounded by his family returned to his Heavenly Father. Born in Pocatello, ID on May 25th, 1946 to Thomas Alfred and Wanda June Bailey Dibble. Terry was the 3rd of 5 boys: Thomas (Rosemary), Pat, Edward, and Robert (Helen).

The family moved to Las Vegas, NV, in June of 1961 where Terry attended and graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1964.  After graduation Terry moved to Salt Lake City where he met and married his soul mate of 56 years, Betty Ann Worwood Dibble on September 28, 1968.  They moved to Boise, ID in 1969 where they started a family.  They were blessed with their first child, daughter Tara Ann Dibble, born December 3, 1973 who they cherished for the moment in time they had with her as she quickly returned to heaven to be their “Angel”. Together they raised their two boys: Brandon Dibble (Kristine) and Tyler Dibble (Bobbie).  He leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren Cloe, Kendra, Hayden, Brock and Makenna.

Terry devoted his life to providing and taking care of his family.  He along with his wife started T.A. Dibble Excavation, Inc. in 1978 where he created and cultivated many relationships with contractors in the valley.  Terry believed in hard work, honesty with a side of humor.  He was rewarded for his dedication to this by being a prominent company who has employed many that still call him “friend.”  His infectious smile and laugh will be remembered by many.

Terry’s passion for Baseball and Softball was unmatched, from collecting cards to coaching his sons in their early years.  Terry spent over 30 years playing basketball and fast pitch on multiple teams, ending with the Boise Metros.  He was inducted into the Idaho ASA Fast Pitch and Northwest Region 15 USA Softball Hall of Fame.  In the last 15 years he tried never to miss a game that his grandchildren played.  He spent countless nights watching & “coaching” Baseball, Football, Basketball, Lacrosse, Softball and yes even dance recitals.  The bond he shared with each one of his grandchildren will forever be etched in their lives.

To say Terry was an avid sports fan would be an understatement!!  His love for the game was unmatched.  This was apparent as he was a season ticket holder for Boise State Football, Basketball, Boise Hawks and Steelheads to name a few. He was a member of the Boise State Athletic Association and never missed a chance to root his team on.  He spent many years donating and supporting the football players in their annual BBQ and traveling to out of state games.

Terry had a passion for serving others, and served faithfully in various church callings.  He loved each and every one that he crossed paths with.  Terry’s influence and impact has been felt far and wide and will continue through his descendancy.  We love you, Dad!  May your wisdom and love be with us all, until we meet again.
