Terrill Dee Howard, age 87, of Eagle, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home on March 8, 2026.
Terrill was born on May 29, 1938, in Chester, Idaho, to Loy and Leda Howard. He was raised with strong values of faith, family, and service that guided him throughout his life. Terrill graduated from Brigham Young University and later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Western States Mission.
Following his mission, Terrill served in the Army National Guard and then began his professional career in banking. He later transitioned into estate planning and insurance, where he spent many years helping families plan for the future and protect what mattered most to them.
Terrill married the love of his life, Charlotte Anne Cook, and together they built a loving home and raised five children. Family was the center of Terrill’s life, and he took great pride in the legacy of faith and family he helped build. He loved spending time with his family, watching Boise State sports with his brother Nuel, enjoying the outdoors, and serving in various calling for his church.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children, Chris, James, Matt, Marci, and Anna; 19 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. His love, guidance, and steady example will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
