Teddy W. Jeremiah

Teddy Wayne Jeremiah went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 peacefully surrounded by family.

Ted was born on February 19, 1945 in Porterville, CA to Standley and WillaDean Jeremiah. At the age of two the family moved to Cottage Grove, OR. Ted attended school and graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1963. He worked at 3 Boys Grocery Store through high school. After graduation he joined the Air Force in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1967.

After the military he moved back to Cottage Grove and went to work at Weyerhauser, where he worked for 17 years. In 1984 he met Rickie Aanrud. Ted and Rickie moved to Idaho in 1985. Ted was the superintendent of the Co-Generation Power Plant in Tamarack. He resigned from that position in 1999, when he moved back to Cottage Grove and worked with his nephew at his aggregate business which he enjoyed very much. In 2001 Ted was given the opportunity to start up another Co-Generation plant in Plummer, ID. In 2004 Ted moved to Payette ID, he worked for Heinz for two years and finally retired.

Ted enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He would take them fishing, build things with them, or teach them to mechanic. You would always see at least one of them tagging along on the 4-wheeler, riding the lawn mower or with whatever he was doing. Most importantly he shared the gospel with them.

Ted is survived by his wife Rickie, Sister Karen, Children Teddy Wayne (Cristina) Myers, Tracy Myers, Alta (Mark) Howard, and Alma (Dell) Barker. He had 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and honorary grandchildren from church. He was preceded in death by his father Standley, mother WillaDean and brother Bob.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on July 27, 2025, at Whitestone Christian Fellowship, 427 14th Ave. N. Payette, ID.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
