Tammy Ann Maile Opupele- Hammon was born in Oahu, Hawaii on April 2, 1962. She entered Heaven’s gates on July 16, 2023.
Tammy was raised by her grandparents, Joseph and Annie Opupele on Kahului, Maui, Hawaii. She attended Kahului Elementary School and Maui High School. Tammy moved to Idaho in 1992 where she met her husband Steve. They lived in Idaho until 1999 then relocated to Nevada until November 2022 at which time she and her husband, Steve, returned to Idaho where she passed away.
She is survived by her husband Steve Hammon. Her children (son) Cameron Mochizuki-Opupele (Tracie), (daughters) Lahela Opupele- Vasquez and Janalei Capobianco. Her mother Carol Souza (Donald), (sisters) Iwalani Opupele-Pszyk and Donette Goeske (Gary), (brother) Donald Wayne Souza (Tammy).
She has five granddaughters, three grandsons and two great grandsons.
Tammy was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
