“Sylvia was always a joy to be around.  We were all so fortunate to work with Sylvia and experience her positive outlook and smiling, vibrant personality.  She was a beautiful and kind person and she will be forever remembered.” – Kirsten

“Thank you for always having a smile and a laugh no matter what.  Your positivity was inspiring and makes me want to be just like you!  I’m so thankful you were there warming us with your sunshine.” – Dana

“For more than 40 years she blessed and enriched my life.  Being her husband has been an incredible journey.  She came into my life on her birthday in 1981.  Her smile and warmth was so infectious.  In December ’81 she went home from Seattle to Rock Springs to be with her family for Christmas.  After a few days apart I knew, I hoped she would be a part of my life.  She agreed to be my wife and she married me, Steve Hill, May 2, 1982.”

Being a Navy wife, she was uprooted every several years.  She enjoyed the travel but loved more the trips home to family.

She left Seattle to live in Gulfport, Mississippi; Anaheim, California; Yokosuka, Japan; Pensacola, Florida and finally setting down roots in Boise.  Each time she moved she worked a variety of jobs.  For a brief time in Boise she worked for State Farm, then finding a home at Direct TV, where she worked for more than 22 years.  She love the people she worked with and enjoyed the customers she helped daily.

“She was always so positive and had an infectious smile.  She will be missed.  We all look forward to seeing her again!” – Heather

Revelations 21:4 – “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; the shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.  There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

We love you “Our Little Miss Sunshine!”
