Sue Jageman (Wright) passed from this life, February 24, 2026, at her home in Boise, Idaho. Her husband Donald and her nephew Tom were present at the time.
Sue is survived by her husband, Donald, her son, Braden; her sister, Anna Underholt; her nephews Tom Underholt; Josh Wright; Jeff Geotsch; and her nieces Lindsay Burch (Geotsch); Rebecca Casanova (Wright).
Sue was born in Arkansas, April 1, 1944, to Vergil and Vera Wright.
Donald and Sue Jageman were married September 6, 1986, at a church in Berkeley, California.
Donald and Sue have one son – Braden- who lives in Philadelphia. He is one of those “tech” guys.
Sue and Donald met at a dance sponsored by a local church in Walnut Creek, California, a year before their marriage. She attended the dance with another woman Donald had known in high school. From that point, life improved substantially for Donald.
For the last 40 years, Sue was a loving wife, mother, companion, and best friend.
In Sue’s past, she had successfully owned and operated a plant store (flower shop) in Vallejo, California, for a few years when she was in her 30’s. Also, she graduated from Heald Business College in the East Bay in California. Further, she successfully operated an interior decorating business over the years.
After her passing, she left two dogs- Violet& Cheuy- rescue dogs- who are doing very well, despite some vision problems and old age.
Sue and Donald met and originally lived in the California East Bay area. In 2000 they moved to the California foothills in 2000, where they lived for 15 years. They then moved to Portland for two and a half years, before settling in Boise for the last eight years.
Sue has been described as very artistic and showed her skills as an Interior Decorator for years. She used her talents in our home and helped many others to beautify their homes.
In Boise, Sue volunteered with the GG’s at a local elementary school. She was well liked by everyone and formed friendships easily. Years earlier, in her younger days, she worked as a teacher’s aide in California. She loved children, dogs, her son, and her husband- not necessarily in that order.
Sue was liked and loved by everyone she met. She would talk to strangers in restaurants, stores, when shopping- anywhere in public. Anyone who overheard the conversations would think that Sue and the stranger had known each other for years.
