It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Shirley Ann Lovett on March 15, 2026. Unfortunately Shirley was involved in a car accident the day prior and succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
Shirley was born April 24, 1942 in Hays Kansas to Clarence and Anna VonFeldt. She spent most of her childhood years in Colorado as the eldest of three children with her two brothers Jerry and Wayne.
After graduating from Adams City High School, her life took her to Santa Barbara California where her and her then husband gave birth to their son Brett Fillis on March 2, 1961. Her travels then led her to Kodiak Alaska in 1962 where she met the love of her life Andrew "Clyde" Lovett. Shortly after their marriage they decided to share their lives and love by adopting two children, Randy and Stephanie.
Over the next 26 years, they enjoyed everything Alaska including trap shooting, fishing, hunting, camping and they spent a large amount of time with an amazing group of friends that included frequent gathering and dinner parties. Their travels eventually led them to settling in the Boise/Meridian area in 1994 to enjoy their retirement.
Her hobbies mainly consisted of quilting/crocheting and gardening, she loved her rose bushes. Shirley was a devout Catholic and religiously attended the Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Meridian, Idaho and also greatly enjoyed attending bible study, led by her 2nd Cousin Deacon Bill Bieker.
