Sharon Marie Phillips (Arietta), 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 9, 2026, after a long fought battle with breast cancer.
Sharon was born in Vallejo, California August 17, 1979 to Ernest Phillip Arietta and Marjorie Ione. Sharon grew up in the Bay Area living with her mother, Marjorie, and older sister, Carol. Sharon was also blessed to have ‘God Parents’, John and Eleanor Eagan of Tracy, California. In 1968, Sharon met who she described as her “White Knight” who later became her husband, Keith Allen Phillips.
Sharon and Keith were married July 3rd, 1971 at the Carson City Court House with friends in tow. They lived in Walnut Creek, California until 1977, when they moved to a home they built on five acres of land with walnut trees in Tracy, California. In 1976, their first child, Aaron Edward Allen was born, and Sharon became a stay at home mom. In 1979 Sharon and Keith welcomed their first daughter, Ann Marie to the family. In 1980 they moved to Truckee California. Sharon loved nature and being amongst the tall trees and mountains. In 1983 their 2nd daughter, Amy Marie was born.
In 1985 the family moved once again to Reno, NV. This is where Keith and Sharon raised their children and lived until 2017, when they moved to Star Idaho to be near their oldest daughter, Ann, and her family.
Sharon became a member of the “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” in 1978. She has served lovingly over the years in many callings that she loved immensely, especially that of teaching youth and humanitarian work. She loved openly and deeply all those who opened their hearts to her. She had a special love for all around her, especially her family and friends. Her faith and testimony in a loving Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ shaped her life as a valiant servant and light to this earth.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Keith Allen; her children, Aaron Edward Allen (Stacy), Ann Marie Gonda (John), Amy Marie Gillies (Shawn); Her grandchildren, Austin, Sydney, Allison, Avery, Annabel, Alivia, Andrew, Ariana, and Edward.
