Sally was born in Spokane, Washington on November 27, 1942 and passed on April 26, 2021 in Boise after a long battle with dementia.

She grew up in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1961. Sally attended the University of Idaho and graduated in 1965 with a degree in Education. She later earned her Masters degree from Boise State University.

After greater than 30 years of teaching, majority of them at Boise High School, Sally retired and enjoyed volunteering for the League of Women Voters, Assistance League of Boise, and the Morrison Center. She enjoyed travel, golf, art, and any time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael; their children, Patrick (Alexa), and Carrie (Kirk); and three grandchildren, Mikayla, Hailey, and Jack.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Nell Kimball; her brother, Stu Kimball; and her favorite aunt Katie Kimball.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Emerson House Memory Care and Horizon Hospice for the excellent care Sally received in her final days.

A celebration of Sally’s life will take place in the fall in Boise.
