Sandra Darlene (Michael) Sharrer passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born September 4, 1939, in Westernport, MD to the late Robert W. Michael and Mildred C. (Hott) Michael.

Sandy was loved by a close community of family and friends and was very proud of all her children and their accomplishments. She is survived by her son Terrence C. Sharrer Sr. of Boise, ID who personally cared for her over the past few years, daughter Stacey M. (Klipp) Foxwell of Westminster, MD, son-in-law Scott Johnston of Dacula, GA and daughter-in-law Christy (Moreland) Klipp of Temple, GA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was especially close to her grandson, Dujon Sharrer. She took on the responsibility of raising him and helped shape him into the loving family man he is today.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 40 years, Victor R. Sharrer, her daughters Leigh Ann (Klipp) Johnston and Kathy Lynn (Klipp) Harris, and son Jeffery Andrew Klipp.

She was a 1957 graduate of Bruce High School in Keyser, WV.

Over the course of 50 years, she worked for Dixon Paper Company, Zellerbach Paper Company, and Unisource Paper Company as a Purchaser and a Manager. Driven by a desire to work with people, she dedicated her last years to Ogden Valley Chevron in Utah as a shift lead. As a result, she had many dear friends in the Ogden Valley area, most especially Mark and Yvonne.

Sandy loved the outdoors and enjoyed raising purebred Arabian horses. She had a soft spot for strays and saved many dogs in her long life. Her favorite place in the world was Montana, especially around Yellowstone and the Beartooth Mountains.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr., Garden City, ID 83714. A private memorial service for friends and family will be held at her home in Boise, ID.
