Sandra Mae Bowman
December 6, 1936 – May 21, 2024
The Eternities have brighted this day and the Gates of Heaven have been opened to receive Sandra Mae Bowman into the arms of Jesus.
Welcoming Sandra are her husband Keith, her son Joe, granddaughter Stephanie, parents Cephus and Kathryn, her siblings Naomi, Stan, Buddy, Mahala, Julia, Art, and Kevin.
She will be watching over her children, Frank (Phylis), (Debbie), David (Eva), Dianne, Tammy (Rod), Lisa (Joey), and Sandy (Dave). Her 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Along with her siblings Sarah, Greg, Jeff, Susie and a myriad of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sandra loved to laugh and have fun. She was known to be the first one up dancing, joking around, sitting at the poker table, going bowling or taking a random trip to Las Vegas. Sandra was the greatest fisherman that never fished, and the best backseat driver you never wanted to have. She loved to travel the United States and would stop at every roadside attraction, rest stop and Little America for their ice cream cone. . She was loved by all, what you saw was what you got. She was feisty, spirited, and stubborn to the core. When she loved, she loved with her whole heart.
After 32 years in construction, she started waitressing, enjoying this as much . Sandra was known as 'Smurf' in both professions and all those around her. She was 72 yrs old before she retired for good.
Sandra will be missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her and be loved by her.
It is Us, the ones left behind, who will mourn her death, but it is She, who will rejoice in Eternity.
We Love You Mom
