Russell Edwin Hitt

Russell Edwin Hitt, lovingly known as "Rusty", passed away peacefully on October 22 nd , 2024. Born on April 23 rd , 1961, in Caldwell, Idaho, Rusty was the beloved son of Dorothy (Moran) Hitt and Robert Hitt.
Rusty dedicated over a decade of his life to working as a journeyman. His passion for life was reflected in his love for the outdoors where he found joy in fishing, golfing, and camping and being surrounded by family and friends as often as possible. Also an avid music lover, Rusty enjoyed attending live concerts. Among Rusty's greatest joys was his son, Timothy, with whom he shared many treasured memories.
With a heart as big as his spirit, Rusty had a unique way of connecting with everyone he met. His humor and genuine kindness left a lasting impact on those lucky enough to know him.
Rusty is survived by his son, Timothy Hitt, stepchildren Staci Ritchie, Jenna Taylor, and David Pond, and brothers Ronald Hitt, Randall Hitt, and Richard Hitt.
To have know Rusty was to love him.
