Russel Franklin Conn

Russell “Rusty” F. Conn died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho. He was a member of Eagle Christian Church. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and his family.

 He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret (Michael) Conn, children; Angela of Ft. Myers, Florida, Shawn of Meridian; sister Martha of New Haven, Ind., and one granddaughter; Daniela of Ca., and many relatives and friends. Preceding in death are his parents; Leonard and Adeline Conn of Van Wert, Ohio. 

He worked at several management positions in several states and retired from Toyota Motor Co. in Torrance, Ca. He loved to travel and volunteered at LOVE I.N.C. for many years. He hosted many families for Saddleback Church. He was awarded 3 purple hearts for wounds he suffered in Viet Nam. 

A military service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 5, 2026, at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery located at 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Road Boise, Idaho. 

Preferred memorials are LOVE I.N.C. of Treasure Valley, Nampa, Idaho.
