Ronald Howard Frieze

Ronald Howard Frieze of Eagle, Idaho passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and pancreatic cancer. He died at home with Cindy, his wife by his side.

Ron was born on November 2, 1948 to Howard and Helen Frieze in Grangeville, Idaho. He graduated from Grangeville High School and attended Lewis/Clark College and Boise State University.

He was a realtor for several years, had his own real estate office and served on the Boise Board of Realtors. At the time of his death, he was employed by Stifel Financial as a financial advisor and assistant branch manager. He worked passionately for his clients for 37 years.

Ron was an avid golfer and trap shooter. He spent many hours shooting with his friends at the Boise and Melba Gun Clubs and served on the Board of Directors. He loved traveling and shooting all over Idaho and several other states. When he wasn’t at a gun club, he loved playing gin and poker with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy of Eagle and brother Alfred (Jacquie) Frieze of Boise. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Helen Frieze, a brother Dwayne Frieze and his sister Diane (Larry) Drapeau.

Ron lived life to the fullest, always having high hopes and dreams for his future. Never giving in to his illness, he was an inspiration to us all. He was a man of integrity, honesty and love. He never met a stranger and became instant friends with everyone he met. His contagious smile, laugh and sense of humor will never be forgotten.

Special thanks to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and all the nurses and doctors who took care of him at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Meridian. To all his countless friends and his associates at Stifel, a sincere thank you.

A memorial and open house for Ron will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the Meridian Senior Center, 1920 N. Records Way in Meridian.

Ron will be deeply missed. Fly high, my love! Soar freely amongst the angels and rest peacefully in the arms of your God.
