Rochelle Alvarez, 56, of Nampa, ID, danced her way to heaven on December 10, 2023, in Boise, ID. Born on February 9, 1967, Rochelle was an independent force of nature, known for her generosity and selflessness. She was the holiday QUEEN and had a knack for making every occasion a memorable one. With a hilarious sense of humor and a heart as beautiful as her smile, Rochelle brought laughter and joy to everyone she met. She was fiercely passionate about those she loved and was the glue that brought the family together. She truly was “Every Woman” to everyone.

A go-getter, Rochelle worked hard and stood strong in the face of challenges. She always put others first, making her a beloved daughter to Helen Martinez, and mother to Vanessa Martinez, Sergio Salazar, AJ Davila, Will Fabela, Christina Fabela, and Christopher Fabela. She also leaves behind her brothers, George Martinez and Richard Martinez, and her grandchildren (near and far) who healed her in many ways.

When Rochelle wasn’t busy being the life of the party, she enjoyed casting her troubles away while fishing, boating, and singing her heart out on the dance floor. Her zest for life was contagious, and she lived each day to the fullest.

Rochelle found solace and inspiration in her faith, with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Which she stated she loved the peace it gave her and her relationship with her Savior.

To honor Rochelle’s vibrant spirit, a viewing will be held on December 15, 2023, from 3pm-5pm at Bowman’s Funeral Home in Eagle, ID. Where family and friends will be dressing in white, pink or purple in her honor, if possible. Contributions in Rochelle’s memory can be made to the Colon Cancer Coalition at coloncancercoalition.org.

Rochelle Alvarez has left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. As she takes her final bow, let us remember her with love, laughter, and a touch of mischief. May her spirit continue to dance among us, forever cherished and dearly missed.

“God took me. I was ready…” Now, no longer suffering, she is “happy, happy” with the Lord.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm at Bowman Funeral Parlor located at 10254 W.Carlton Bay Garden City.
