Known by family and friends as “Kelly” or “Bones”.
February 28th,1959- March 18th, 2026
Our family lost our loving, devoted and proud father, husband, papa, brother, Uncle, cousin and forever Elvis fan on the night of March 18th, 2026, at 9:45pm at the age of 67. He was surrounded by loved ones and had the women of his life holding his hands and kissing his cheeks, telling him it was okay to go as he took his last breath.
Robert Kelly Stewart was born on February 28th, 1959, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Patsy Jean Nation and Harry Dean Stewart. He was the first born of 5 kids. Growing up, Robert was a wild child, full of all kinds of adventure- Rather it be working on trucks with his buddies, racing his muscle cars at firebird, going hunting with his family and friends, working or even being a rebel and finding himself in some trouble from time to time. Dad worked many jobs, but the most important one was raising his daughters and being a husband. Our dad was a man who truly lived a life not looking to please others, but Soley to be a man of meaning what he says and being there for his loved ones.
Kelly met his Wife Christina Ann Randall back in 1989 as he was working on a car and noticed her riding her horse, one thing led to another and several years later they got married at the City Hall on March 14th, 1997. They began their little family of four when they brought their first daughter into the world, Charlotte Marie Stewart, on September 15th, 1992. Becoming a dad was not only his saving grace, but it was also the proudest accomplishment he would hold till his final moments. Their story didn’t end there when three years later on December 8th, 1995, they welcomed their last child into their family, a daughter named Antoinette Kelly Stewart. Though dad always wanted a boy, he quickly realized he would not have it any other way. He was never short of raising his daughters to be these strong, independent, self-sufficient and not afraid to get their hands dirty type of girls. Being raised by a man like our dad was to be raised with such unconditional love, loyalty, protection and such involvement that losing him feels like we don’t know how to do all that he has taught us. Kelly’s most proud title was “Dad”, there was not a thing he would not do for his girls and being raised by him is the biggest honor, but his next most proud title was “Papa”. He was the best papa to a grandson named Colt Jesse King and a granddaughter named Remington Ann-Marie King. We are so grateful his grandchildren were able to experience the love us girls have felt our entire lives from our dad. Watching him be a grandpa was like us reliving our childhood.
Kelly enjoyed making memories with his daughters rather that be working on their chevy trucks that he passed down to them, going hunting, taking them to the races, training and riding horses together or anything else he could have us be involved in. He enjoyed watching westerns and tv shows with his wife and sitting outside soaking up the sun as they talked about anything and everything. Dad was a true MacGyver, if anyone could fix or build it, it would be him- from vehicles, to fences, shelters, bikes, etc the list goes on. If there was ever a problem, he was always able to find a solution. He enjoyed being outside doing all the chores that were needed to keep up the home he and mom bought and filled with so much love through the years.
Dads’ legacy lives on through his wonderful wife Christina Stewart and his two beautiful daughters Charlotte Marie Stewart and Antoinette Kelly Stewart of Emmett, Idaho. His two incredible grandchildren Colt Jesse King and Remington Ann-Marie King. He is also survived by his siblings Sherry St. Amand of Spokane, Washington, Melanie (Gene) Conyers of Boise, Idaho, Mike (Andrea) Stewart of Buhl, Idaho and HD(Sarah) Stewart of Filer, Idaho.
Dad was preceded in death by his mom, Patsy Jean Nation and dad, Harry Dean Stewart.
Robert Kelly Stewart- Forever loving and proud Husband, Dad and Papa. This is not goodbye, just until we meet again and can say “This time it’s forever”. We love and miss you much- please keep sending us signs that you are here and know we are SO PROUD of you and feel so blessed to have you as a dad.
To the world’s best dad, love your daughters and wife.
