Robert (Bobby, Bob) was highly engaging, and, in some ways, larger than life, with a smile that made people feel welcome. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Bulls and could break down games with anyone. He was also a movie and comic book fan with a particular love of science fiction. Perhaps his greatest passion was cooking. Whether it was always being on the lookout for the latest appliances or starting his own food truck (Uncle Grumpy’s Barbecue) one of the additional joys of being family or friends with Bob was that he made sure you were well fed, The big laugh and big love he shared with us will always be remembered.
