Robert Delos (Blackie) Haylock
Robert Delos Haylock “Bob” & aka Blackie passed in his sleep at the age of 81 on July 2, 2024, in Meridian, ID.
Bob was born in Fort Atkinson, WI to Evelyn Lucille & Robert Delos Haylock. He had three siblings: Sandy, Howie & Don.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Delos Haylock, mother Evelyn Lucille Anderson, stepfather Palmer Anderson, sister Sandra Mccall, brother in-law Frank Mc Call, his baby brother Don Stiff & his brother Howard Stiff.
He married Janice Lee Malcolm in 1964. They later divorced.
He is survived by his 2 beautiful daughters Laura Orear 60 Meridian, ID & Darcy Belmontes 57 Riverside, CA, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren,
his sister-in-law Ann Stiff, many special cousins, his nephew, nieces, and several friends.
He spent most of his life in the midwest with friends & family.
He was a Jack of all trades master of most which allowed him to work several different trades.
He worked in a warehouse, as a landscaper, a crane operator & truck driver. He retired and relocated to ID in 2021.
He was a simple man who loved his family.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and telling stories about his life adventures.
He liked listening to music while drinking a beer and having a smoke.
He got joy from making people laugh.
He was a wisecracker always telling riddles & jokes and loved the banter and causing “mass confusion” as he would say.
His favorite thing to do was watch the Milwaukee Brewers play baseball and cheer for
Green Bay Packers.
He will be remembered for his great humor.
He will be truly missed by many.
