Raymond F. Steiger died peacefully at his home Friday January 3, 2025, after a courageous fight with cancer. Raymond was born in Nampa, Idaho on January 13, 1947. Raymond served honorably in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family all his life. He would work early in the morning as the bakery manager at Buttrey's then come home and take a nap before heading back out to frame houses until sundown. He went to work for Costco as the bakery manager for many years where he retired in 2012. Raymond had a passion for being outdoors. Whether it be running his river boat at Hells Canyon or hunting and fishing everywhere from Africa to Alaska. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He is survived by his partner of 30 years Michelle Severance. His daughter Michelle Anderson and her husband Jim and their son Dallas. His son Mike Steiger, his son Mark and daughter Kalena. He also had 3 great grandchildren, Westley, Raymond and Renn. He also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and great friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Wilbert and Doris Steiger. His twin brother Ronald Steiger and his brother Terry Steiger. No services are planned currently.
