Randy’s journey began on January 17,1954 and ended on September 8, 2023.   Randy was born in Twin Falls, Id. He attended school in Boise, graduating  from Borah High School/ He was an esteemed basketball and baseball player for Borah.

Randy was born in Twin Falls, Id and moved to Boise when he was 2 years old when his father was transferred to Boise while working for Mountain Bell Telephone. Randy attended school in Boise graduating from Borah High School. He was an esteemed basketball and baseball player. He graduated from BSU’s nursing program in 1986. He started his career at St Luke’s hospital where he worked for 30 years. Randy worked in CVICU, Pre-op and PACU.

After high school Randy enlisted in the Navy as a Medical Corpsman, he was primarily assigned to Marine units and tank battalions. He loved the Marine Corps. He received an honorable discharge from the Navy Reserves in 1980.

Randy was an outdoorsman. He loved his hunting dogs, motorcycles, hunting and fishing with his friends, brother Tony and nephew Gabriel. He had great adventures hunting and fishing in the mountains and deserts of Idaho and beyond. Randy had great stories of deep-sea fishing in Mexico.

Randy loved his nephew, Gabriel. Randy never missed any of Gabriel’s baseball practices or games. He always took Gabriel for ice cream after games, and he always bought Gabriel the best Christmas and birthday gifts. He taught Gabriel how to fish and drive his fishing boat.

Randy had some great lifelong friends. Most of which he knew since grade school.

Randy is survived by his brother Tony (Lenora) Johnson, Nephew Gabriel Johnson, Aunt Helen Hanson, Aunt Joan Gregory, and several cousins.
