Randen Eugene Hagerman

Randen Eugene Hagerman, 75, passed away on April 15, 2026. He was born on March 2, 1951, in Salem, Oregon, and lived all of his life in Boise, Idaho.

Randen was known for helping others without hesitation and for finding ways to lighten even the heaviest moments, often with his own offbeat sense of humor. He had a rare ability to connect with people, often turning brief encounters into meaningful conversations, and a gift for making people feel seen. As a paint contractor, he took pride in every project, and through his work, he built lasting relationships that meant a great deal to him.

He loved restoring vehicles, especially Volkswagens, and spent many hours in his garage doing what he loved. He also had an encyclopedic knowledge of classic cars, with a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for their history.

He is survived by his sisters, Sherry and Gena; his nephews, Jaimie, Macon, and Ty; and his niece, Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Melissa, whom he cherished deeply.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and the lasting impression he left on those he met.
