Ralph Michael Stevenson

Ralph Michael Stevenson (known to his family as Michael and to his friends as Mike) died peacefully at home, while in hospice, at 1:59 AM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Michael died in Boise, Idaho, where - with his wife, Deborah - he had made his home for the past 42 years. He grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he was born on December 13, 1939. He married Marlena Brooks and to this union a daughter was born. Michael received a BA degree in history from Southeast Missouri State College and eventually moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he pursued a career as a lumber broker.

Michael was preceded by the following immediate family members: his parents, Ralph Michael Stevenson and Eula Blair Stevenson, and his sister, Joann E. Stevenson. Those immediate family members remaining to mourn his death are his wife, Deborah Stevenson, his sister, Karen Visnaw, his daughter Kimberly Richardson and three grandsons, Jonathan, Samuel, and William Richardson.
