As a young girl Patricia grew up in parts of Eastern Oregon, Sweet, Ola, and Emmett, ID. After graduating from Emmett High School in 1957 she briefly attended Links School of Business and decided that a career in an office setting was not for her. It was then she decided to go east to Biloxi, Mississippi. She found a job working in a restaurant as a waitress for a short period of time, returning to Idaho, Patricia started a family of five children. After moving several times over the years to California, Idaho, and Oregon she settled in the small town of McDermitt, NV. This is where she started her career in the mining industry working as a lab technician. Patricia loved her job and working with her colleagues bucking and testing samples for gold. While working in the mining industry, Patricia made a couple more moves from Elko to Ely, Cherry Creek, and into her final home of Spring Creek, NV. Patricia worked for 25 years with Placer Dome Mining Company where she retired from the Bald Mountain Mine. Not long after retiring, Patricia returned to work as a part-time caregiver, working for Beehive Homes but eventually retired completely. Her hobbies included working in her yard, playing her keyboard and guitar, taking drives to Lamoille Canyon, and enjoying the scenery of the Ruby mountains from her porch swing. Being diagnosed with COPD emphysema ultimately took her life.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered for her gentle spirit, fun-loving nature, and willingness to help her family and friends however she could.
