Parla Gwen Haskett-Ramirez, 79, went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 21, 2023 in Boise, Idaho.
Parla was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Parley and Wilma Haskett and graduated from Pocatello High School. She later married Daniel Ramirez and they had three children, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Parla held fond memories of her childhood, including collecting arrowheads with her parents, listening to her Dad play his fiddle, and spending time in nature. She loved to share these stories with all of her children and worked to record and preserve her family history.
Parla was a career bookkeeper and worked for Canyon County for many years.
Throughout her life, Parla enjoyed crocheting, completing puzzles, doing crosswords, reading books, and watching movies with her family. Parla treasured her grandchildren and made them the center of her life, which meant the world to all of them.
Parla was preceded in death by her parents, brother Mayo, and sister Wilma. She is survived by her sisters Bette and Claudeen, children Deana Shaffer (Ray), Tracy Ramirez, and Michael Ramirez (Karra), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchild.
Parla will be laid to rest with her parents at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls, Idaho.
