Nancy Elizabeth “Beth” Crosby
March 2, 1960 – July 13, 2025
Nancy Elizabeth “Beth” Crosby passed away on July 13, 2025, in Boise, Idaho — but if you knew her, you know a woman like Beth never really leaves. She was only ever “Nancy” when she was in trouble, and even then, she wore the name with defiance and flair.
Born on March 2, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, Beth was a crazy spitfire of a woman who lived life full throttle. She loved Budweiser, NASCAR, baseball, and a particular era of pharmaceutical cocaine — and she made no apologies for any of it. She saw the world through rose-colored glasses, not because it was always kind, but because she chose joy, laughter, and rebellion. She made every room brighter — and often louder — just by being in it.
Beth traveled the globe in search of adventure, sailors, and good times — from Guam and Japan to the Hollywood Hills. She lived her best life on her own terms, and rock and roll (and country music) will never be the same without her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Crosby-White and Katharine Crosby; her “boy,” Justin Crosby; her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Valerie, Jaelynn, and Snow; and her siblings Mari Owenz, Michael Owens, Colette Garner, and Maureen Worley. She is preceded in death by her oldest siblings, Catherine Lutner and Otis Owens.
A celebration of Beth’s life will take place sometime in the future — and it’ll be one she’d actually want to attend. Until then, raise a cold Bud, turn up the music, and live just a little louder — for Beth.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
