Mitchell Kenneth Ramirez, lovingly known as Mitch, was born on June 22, 1969, to his mother, Elizabeth Zehnpfennig. He passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2026, with his devoted mother by his side.
Mitch was a loving and dedicated father to his daughter, Mara, who brought immeasurable joy, pride, and happiness to his life. His love for her was unwavering, and she was truly the light of his life.
A dedicated sports fan, Mitch remained faithful to his beloved Bay Area teams through every victory and defeat. Alongside his brother Scott, he shared countless memories cheering wholeheartedly for the Oakland A's, the Raiders, and the Golden State Warriors. Whether celebrating a big win or enduring a tough season, Mitch never lost his loyalty or enthusiasm for the teams he loved.
Mitch had a deep passion for music and appreciated all genres. He loved discovering new artists and bands and found great joy in sharing music with others. His curiosity and appreciation for life's simple pleasures were part of what made him so special.
Above all, Mitch loved his family with his whole heart. His loyalty, and love will be remembered by all who knew him.
While not many people knew how deeply Mitch believed in God, his faith was an important part of his life. He read the Bible from beginning to end several times, and his family finds great comfort and peace in knowing that he has returned to his Father in Heaven.
Mitch is survived by his parents, Joe and Liz Zehnpfennig; his beloved daughter, Mara; and his brothers, Scott, David, and Joseph. He also leaves behind many family members who will cherish his memory forever.
Though he is no longer with us, Mitch's love, laughter, faith, devotion to family, and passion for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be loved, remembered, and missed forever.❤
