A Life Well Lived

Michael Terrence Zoberski: Born September 4, 1950.  Expired October 8, 2026

Michael was born in Colorado to Ray and Doris "Pat" Zoberski.  He was one of three boys; him, Ray, and Kevin.

Michael grew up in an Army environment living in Iran, Oregon, and Colorado.  He joined the Army and was stationed in Alaska teaching mountain climbing and skiing.  After the Army, he worked on a ranch in Wyoming as a cowboy with his best friend Mark Shanklin.  He later moved to California and became a computer technician for Data General.  While there, he met and married his wife, Jean Yribar - they were married for 42 years.  Jean owned several hair salons and after selling them they moved back to Boise, where Jean was born.  She opened a salon in Boise and Michael decided he could get a cosmetology license, and they could run two salons.  Ultimately, they sold both locations and built a day spa that ran for 15 years.  They worked together for 45 years, then retired in 2019.

Michael loved skiing, fishing, camping, and doing lawn work.  He could fix almost anything.  He loved a good joke, and getting people to laugh.  Michael had many health issues over the years, which was a challenge for him to keep doing what he enjoyed.  But he skied and fished until 2026.  Michael's last challenge was very sudden, and his body was used up.  He fulfilled his life's contract...now on to the next!

His is survived by his wife Jean of Boise, his stepdaughter Teresa DeVinaspre Norton of Boise, "granddaughter" Kayia Malang of Meridian, daughter Shannan Van Malsen, and two granddaughters Maddie and Lola of Michigan, brother Kevin Zoberski and sister-in-law Natalie of Colorado, and sister-in-law Rita Nabonne of Boise as well as many nieces and nephews and a multitude of Dear Friends.

He was loved and will be missed in this world by so many.
