Michael Ray Swisher

Michael Ray Swisher, 67, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on June 11, 2025. He was born in Upland, California, on October 27, 1957.

Michael proudly served in the United States Army and later spent his career as a long-haul truck driver. He was a quiet and steady presence, known for his deep loyalty to his family and his heartfelt generosity.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lee Swisher, and his brother, Mark Reed Swisher.

Mike is survived by his mother, Donna Rae Thompson, and his sister, Kathi Lee Wight, both of Boise, Idaho. He is also remembered with love by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family members.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Garden City, Idaho on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

Michael will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
