Mary Anne Streeter, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, passed a way peacefully on August 7, 2026, at the age of 61. After a courageous battle with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s, she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mary Anne was born on February 25, 1965, in Caldwell, Idaho to Don and Mary Rule. She was the youngest of eight children and was adored by her mother, father, and siblings. Sadly, her oldest sister and sibling Margaret Creech, passed away only two weeks before her. Mary Anne often referred to her six older brothers as her “protectors”.
Early in her life, Mary Anne became a devoted young mother to three daughters, Missy, Mandy, and Meribeth with her first husband Mike Hegland. Following their divorce she raised her daughters in Middleton, Idaho. She embraced the role of being a dedicated single mother, always putting her daughters first, cherishing them as her greatest treasure.
In 1999, Mary Anne married Mark Streeter, from Baker City, Oregon after a serendipitous blind date, they settled in Caldwell, Idaho.
Mary Anne had a passion for music and truly loved to sing, playing the piano, and the Mandolin as her girls played their Guitar and Fiddled. She found great joy in spending time with her family, sharing laughter, music and creating memories. Her unwavering Faith in God and her relationship with Jesus were the cornerstones of her life. Guiding her through every triumph and trial.
Mary Anne’s love and dedication for her husband, daughters, and grandchildren knew no bounds. Her love, care, and warmth touched the lives of all those around her, leaving an enduring legacy of love that will be cherished for generations to come.
She is survived by her husband Mark Streeter, her daughters Missy Cook, Mandy Morrison, Meribeth Spurlock, step daughters Shannon Hunter, Andrea Streeter, and Heather Church, her eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. By her siblings, Dave Rule, John Rule, Dan Rule, Steve Rule, Mike Rule, and Tim Rule.
Mary Anne was proceeded in death by her parents, Don and Mary Rule, and by her dear sister Margaret Creech.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Wild Hearts Springs Event Center in Wilder, Idaho on October 17th, 2026 at 1:30 pm. Please join us as we come together to remember and honor the life of this extraordinary woman.
