Mary Catherine Easton

1944-2023

Mary C. Easton of Meridian Idaho passed away at the age of 79, June 1, 2023

She is no longer in pain and is in the presence of the Lord.

Revelation 21:4

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

Mary was born on March 15, 1944 to the late Phillip A. Welker & Cora May Elliott Welker in Kilgore Texas

Mary graduated from Parkersburg W. Va high school and married the love of her life John H. Easton on June 21, 1965.

She was a blessing as daughter & sister and a devoted wife, mother, and friend and was known as gramme for the last 32 years.

Mary loved her family.  She especially loved the great-grandchildren.  If she wasn’t holding the babies and reading them a story in her lap she was taking care of her lovely home and gracing her yard with plants and flowers during the Spring & summer months.

She was a member of Meridian 1st baptist church in Meridian, Idaho for many years involving herself with woman’s groups, bible studies & sewing group.

most of all she loved going to all the family gatherings and parties for the holidays.  She would just soak in the moment

enjoying good food, tons of laughter, and special talks & hugs.  Her smile was so sweet to everyone.

She is survived by her children:

Joyce (Mike) Cecsarini of Meridian Idaho, Tom (Laura) Easton of Middleton Idaho

sisters: Norma Jean Christ of Jacksonville Florida Georgia Ann (Doug) Shaw of Mulberry Florida

brothers: Phillip Anthony (carol) Welker of Chillicothe Ohio, Thomas ( Charlene) Welker of Mineral Wells W.Va

grandchildren: Joclyn Cecsarini of Twin Falls Idaho, Janelle (Ryan) Templeton of Nampa Idaho, Jeremiah (Olivia) Cecsarini of Boise Idaho, Jayna ( Matt) Sturzen of Jefferson Oregon, Jireh Cecsarini of Meridian Idaho, Brendan (fiance’ Joanna) Easton of Kuna Idaho, Kaleb Easton of Kuna Idaho, Alec (fiance’ Gaby) West of Kuna Idaho

She had 3 great-grandchildren: Rylynn Templeton, Juniper Templeton, Reuben Cecsarini

and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Easton, sisters: Carlene E. Welker, Corlene E. Welker,

brother James A. Welker
