Margaret “Peggy” Jean Lesh
1946-2024
Margaret (Peggy) J. Lesh, 77, of Meridian passed away January 13, 2024, at 11:13 pm after a short and tough fight with cancer.
Peggy was born November 8, 1946, in Twin Falls, ID to James Ross and Jean Minshew. After graduating from Burley High School, she enrolled at Holy Cross Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse. Amongst others, she worked at Mercy Hospital in Nampa and the Elks Rehab in Boise. Nursing just came natural to her as she was so caring and compassionate. She was also a member of Daughters of the Nile.
While employed at the Elks, she met her husband of 48 years, Mike Lesh. She later worked in the family business (Mike Lesh RV in Caldwell). Her favorite charities were Shriners Childrens Hospital and Wounded Warriors.
Her only real hobby was her family. She liked word puzzles and golf, but mainly just loved and cared for her family.
Peggy was blessed with two daughters, Jenn Grundhauser (Ben Grundhauser) of Eagle and Debby Gaustad of Meridian.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; two daughters, Jenn and Debby; six grandchildren, Mikey Harpt (Nampa), Jacob Harpt (Eagle), Kaitlin Perry (Boise), Emma Gaustad (Meridian), Braden Gaustad (Meridian) and Ali Grundhauser (Eagle); two brothers, Ross Minshew (Twin Falls) and Charlie Minshew (Nampa).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr. in Garden City, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service at Banbury Golf Club. Burial will be later at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser.
