Lynda Kay Leamaster was a beautiful soul whose heart was as wild and free as the nature she loved so much.
Born in California and later making her home in Idaho, Lynda found peace and joy in the great outdoors—whether camping under the trees, sitting by a campfire, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty around her.
She was the daughter of Janie Norman and the late Gerald Norman, and a devoted mom to Amanda Norman, Dana Leamaster, Eric Leamaster, and Cory French. Lynda’s heart was also forever tied to her daughter Betina Cessnun, who passed before her, but whose memory she carried every day with love.
Family was everything to Lynda. She adored her grandchildren—Keyan Norman, Jonah Cessnun, Harlee Leamaster, Marlowe French-Flint, and Amarah Norman Rotruck —and took endless pride in watching them grow. Her laughter filled every room, her hugs made everything feel better, and her love was something that could be felt without a single word spoken. Lynda had a way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for. She was the one who’d make sure everyone was fed, warm, and laughing. Her strength, humor, and heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
