Lyle David Frasier, 74, died from cancer with his sons at his side November 15th, 2024, at his home in Eagle, Idaho. He was born in Sidney, Montana, in 1950, to Vernon and Vera (Hodge) Frasier. He grew up in Helena, Montana, and graduated from high school in 1968. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska. For many years, he lived and worked in Des Moines, Iowa, where his children were born and raised. He earned two more Bachelors Degrees in finance and computer programming from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He moved to Idaho in 2012. He spent the last part of his career as an internal auditor, an accountant, and a computer programmer.
He enjoyed cars and traveled to Germany to race cars around the Nürburgring Race Track. He had a thirst for learning and knowledge, which led him to study many languages and become fluent in German. He loved the outdoors and spent time skiing, snowboarding, camping and off-roading.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Vera (Hodge) Frasier. He is survived by his three children, Alicia Frasier, Aaron Frasier, and Nathan Frasier; his brother, Stanley Frasier (Michelle); and his niece, Dawn Frasier.
