Lucy Diane Johnson, 84, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Edgewood Life Care Center.

Born on July 12, 1941, in Boise, Idaho, Diane spent her childhood and school years in Boise, where she attended local schools. She later attended Sacred Heart School of Nursing, where she received her nursing education and began a career devoted to caring for others.

Diane served for many years as a psychiatric nurse at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boise. Throughout her career, she was known for her compassion, professional, and dedication to her patients.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lon Johnson, and by her Parents, Carl F. Johnson and Lucy E. Johnson of Boise.

Diane is survived by her sister, Caroll Behrman, and several nieces and nephews.

Diane will be remembered for her caring nature, her commitment to nursing, and the many lives she touched through her years of service.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
