LuAnn K Darland Zahm
Born February 6, 1955 at Mercy Hospital in Nampa, ID to Chuck and Betty Darland. Passed at home on March 10, 2026 from complications of cancer. She grew up in and attended school in Meridian, ID, graduating from Meridian High in 1973 and married soon afterwards. The couple divorced with no children. Lu remained friends with Lois Joplin until her death in 2011.
Married again in 1990. Through this donation Lu had 2 sons. Trenton K.C. born January 28, 1992 and Tyler John “TJ” born May 14, 1993. They later divorced.
In 2002 she met and married her rock in Love & Life – Tye F. Zahm. They love each other unconditionally and always will.
Placencia Belize and Oro Valley Arizona were go to warm weather places. She loved camping with her boys & best friends at Sage Hen Reservoir. Camping, golfing, BBQs with many friends and gardening were some of her favorites. If you were her friend, you knew it from the bottom of her heart.
Nascar, Boise State Football, Seahawks & Mariners are at the top of the list also.
Lu is survived by her husband of 24 wonderful years, her mother Betty Harris, brother Tim Darland & Bonnie, Jeff Darland & Suzanne, Jennifer & Jay Farrar, and Kris Zahm & Sobeyta. Grandchildren Amara Celeste, Katana Marie & Kristopher Blaze Zahm. Lots of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
To all my True Blue Friends, and you know who you are, Thank YOU for all the crazy, fun times we had.
Gail, you will always be my sister at heart. Thank you for my trips to Oro Valley, AZ. Because I am older, I just beat you to heaven. But I am waiting for you girlfriend.
Services will be held at Bowman Funeral Home, 10254 W Carlton Bay, Garden City, ID. Internment will be at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, 76 6th St N, Nampa, ID. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date at The Village Pub, 9936 Fairview Ave, Boise, ID.
I lived a Great life with no regrets. See you on the other side.
