She grew up in Orofino, Idaho until she relocated after meeting Jerry Ussery & marrying on September 21, 1960. Making their home in Boise, their family grew welcoming three boys, Jeff, Tracy & Danny. She later got her CDL for long haul truck driving with Bud, covering much of the United States which she enjoyed very much. She Loved to tell the story of their delivery of the personal speedboat belonging to Chicago Bears Football player, Walter Peyton. She worked for many companies over the years bookkeeping, and was fond of her time working for the Nugget in Reno, Nevada. Once she became a grandma she decided to relocate back to Idaho to be closer to family. Louise & Bud continued working together, and volunteering for the Idaho Defensive Driving program until his passing in January 2010.

She was an excellent bowler, bowling on leagues for many years, winning her many trophies and high score pins. Louise enjoyed camping, boating and riding motorcycles with her boys.

She enjoyed dancing & singing along with some of her favorites genres of music ranging from Huey Lewis and the News to Elvis Presley.
