Born Luise J. Befort October 15th, 1934, in Wetzlar, Germany, passed onto eternity November 9, 2023, peacefully at home. She grew up in war-torn Germany, the 6th of 7 children: Hans, Habert, Gretel, Ursulla, Otmar, Luise, Dorla. She met and married Thomas A. Claxton while he was stationed in Germany. They settled in Fruitland, Idaho where they raised their 3 children. After their divorce, years later she met and married Endre Kiss in Los Angeles a generous and delightful man who treated her like a queen.
She is preceded in death by her ex-husband Thomas Claxton (1993), and her husband Endre Kiss (1999), along with all her siblings and two adopted grandchildren.
She leaves behind 3 grown adult children Brenda (Chet) Panigue, Trudy Buchanan and Thomas W. Claxton; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Brown, Dustin Buchanan, Noah Claxton, and Daniel Urso, as well as 6 great grandchildren.
She was loved and treasured by all.
We will miss her but know to be absent in the body is to be present with the lord.
What joy we find with that.
