Lorraine Ruby Leach, 75, of Boise, Idaho was called home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2023.  She was born to parents Cecil Lloyd and Ruby Mae Brown on November 23, 1947 in Sebastopol, California.

She married Lynn Stewart Leach in 1965 after they attended Pacific Christian Academy together in Graton, California.  Lorraine is survived by her husband Lynn and their three children, Tracy Marshall, David Leach, and Penny Glover, and their respective spouses Randy, Karen and Brad, along with their seven grandchildren Ashlyn and her husband Matt, Megan, Sophia, Bennett, Miles, Jack and Abigail.

Before relocating to Boise to be nearer to family, Lorraine and Lynn were long-time residents of Poway, California in San Diego County where, together, they raised their family and faithfully served their community and church, the Oak Hill Drive Church of Christ.

Blessed Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandma and Friend, Lorraine lived a life of loving service and devotion to God and to others.

Like the worthy woman of Proverbs 31, Lorraine awoke early and her lamp did not go out at night.  Undefined by any single role, Lorraine humbly delighted in being a first mate to Lynn, devoted mom, teacher of children and babies, life-long student, nurse to humans and countless animal species, passionate gardener, talented seamstress, accomplished pianist, constant chef, family historian, and baker of the best apple pie ever.

Lorraine was beautiful, strong and trustworthy and, most importantly, she was a follower of Jesus Christ.  Her words were filled with truth, knowledge, wisdom, and often song.  “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”  (Proverbs 31: 29.)

A celebration of life in loving memory of Lorraine will be held in Boise, Idaho this summer.
