Lorraine Virginia Dunbar

Lorraine V. Dunbar passed away on June 26,2026. Joining Dale, her husband of 70 years.

Lorraine was born November14, 1934 in Sheridan, Wyoming. She was the daughter of Theodore and Edith Thomas.

She graduated from Boise High School. Lorraine retired from WinCo Foods. She worked in the meat department. During retirement she enjoyed working as camp host with her husband. While being camp host at CJ Strike and Stek Park they were able to enjoy fishing in their down time.

After they retired from being camp host, Lorraine would work in her beautiful garden. During evenings and wintertime, she would work on sewing quilts.

Her favorite author was John Grisham.

A committal service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd. in Boise.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
