Lois J Wood died in the wee hours of the morning on Monday April 14th in Boise Idaho after a long battle with heart failure and cancer.

Born April 29th 1958 In Sacramento California, to Theodore and Lori Thomas. Lois was 1 of 4 children. Born into a military family, Lois knew the life of travel and got to experience destinations all over the world and the United states. She excelled in school and was an avid sports enthusiast.  Particularly in Tennis and Bowling where she earned several trophies that decorated her home for many years.

In fact bowling is how she met her lifelong husband Woody when he walked into the alley she happen to be working at. This was a sport they spent most of their lives enjoying together whether watching as a spectator or joining leagues together as they traveled due to Woodys military career.

Once they settled down in Boise Idaho, Lois took up careers using her vast skills for organization and numbers before settling down with the Idaho department of Transportation before her retirement in October 2019

Lois was know for her conversations and addiction to all things karaoke. It went as far as her email and license plate being Karaoke Queen which no one would contest. It brings us comfort knowing she spent several of her final days enjoying time with friends at Karaoke before her passing.

Lois loved Karaoke but she loved her children and even more her grand-babies. Grandma was known for too many christmas cookies, sleep overs and trips to Pojo’s collecting too many tickets and children always walking away with the prize they wanted.

She will be dearly missed but we know she is enjoying time with Woody now lakeside catching fish and doing karaoke as explained by her grandchildren’s perfect idea of Heaven.
