Linda Lee Sellars

November 20, 1940 — November 2, 2025

Boise

Linda Lee Bruce Sellars passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. Linda was born November 20, 1940, in Boise, Idaho to Perry and Valerie Bruce.

Linda grew up in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1958. She spent many summers in McCall growing up as her parents managed Shore Lodge in McCall, where she mastered her skills in water skiing.

Linda was lifetime friends with Michael J. Sellars and they got married on March 17, 1962. Together, they had two children, Peter (1963) and Valerie (Katie – Kate to her – 1965). Later, Linda and Mike divorced and she raised Peter and Katie in Boise from her home on Mortimer Drive. Linda worked for First Security Bank in Boise and later moved on to Boise Cascade in the Human Resources department for years, making lifelong friends and memories.

Linda met the love of her life in the early 1980’s as “the girl next door”. Her next-door neighbor was Don Cobb and together they built a strong, lasting, and undeniable relationship until Don passed away on July 15, 2009. They blended their two families and enjoyed each other’s company immensely, golfing, playing tennis, long drives, and travel.

Linda became known as “Gammy” with the birth of her first grandchild, Heather Lee, in 1988.

Linda is fondly survived by Peter, Katie, son-in-law Tony, Grandchildren Heather, John, and Lucas (Katie and Tony) and Aspen (Peter). She was so proud to see her Grandson Lucas marry his sweet heart Emily this past April. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, Claire (Heather) and Lachlan (Lucas and Emily).

Mom was preceding in death by her dear and loving sister Ginger (2024).

Any contributions can be made to the Women’s Shelter or Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church.
