LeRoy Shults of Nampa Idaho passed away of natural causes at the age of 94 on Sunday July 21, 2024. He is
survived by his wife of 65 years and his 3 children, and 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He moved to Idaho from Nebraska as a young child and raised his family here.
He attended Franklin High School in Boise. He served in the Navy aboard a cruiser during the Korean war.
LeRoy worked as a shipping foreman for Symms York printing Co. for the majority of his career. Later retiring from Idaho Power Co. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, fishing, water skiing and BSU football, and worked as part of the chain gang since the 1970’s and later became the head of the chain gang until he retired from it in the early 2000’s. LeRoy was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
