Lawrence “Larry” Eugene Hall, 75, went to be with his lord on January 25, 2025 in Boise ID, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on August 2, 1949, the 6th child of Dewey and Edrie Hall. Larry was known for his generous and affectionate nature. He was a man who embodied strength and kindness, always willing to help others even if it meant giving everything he had. His nickname “Happy” was given to him as a child because he always had a smile on his face. Larry briefly served state side in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a passionate individual who loved fishing, going for drives, camping, walking on any beach he could find, and hosting barbecues with friends and family. These activities brought immense joy to Larry and those who had the pleasure of joining him. His love for dogs was enormous, Larry never met a dog that he did not love and they would always love him back. Larry would say though, his best day was the day he found his estranged son and daughter from a previous marriage.
A hard worker throughout his life, Larry deeply loved his family, dedicating much of his time and resources to their well-being. He worked many jobs, fixing and repairing houses, installing windows and siding, managing mobile home parks and many other jobs. Larry was a janitor at First Assembly of God in Twin Falls for a few years. He was the maintenance man at Downata Hot Springs and site manager at Benson KOA in Benson Arizona where he helped to upgrade their facilities.
He is survived by his wife Clarenda “Katie” Brittsan Hall, his children Tommie Lee (Tia), Jerica Colleen,
Lawrence T (Summer), Mary (Bill), Dawna (Joe), his brothers Bill and Duane Hall, and sisters Karen Palmer and Shelvie Robinson, his 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
