Kristen Shay Engleman unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the age of 41, due to a sudden aneurysm.
Kristen was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and relocated to Boise, Idaho with her family in 1993. A few years after completing high school, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she would remain for almost 13 years. In 2013, Kristen made the difficult decision to return to Boise, Idaho for the birth of her beloved daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Engleman, her loving parents David and Valerie Engleman, her former partner Mathias Rigby, her sisters: Sarah Engleman, Melissa (Travis) Broome, Georgia, and Jennifer Sheehan; several nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family.
Kristen was a unique and artistic individual. She was smart, funny, passionate, and had a strong sense of self that helped her through many tough situations. She was strong, opinionated, hard-headed, and we will always love her as she was. Kristen touched many lives and will be truly missed.
Services will be held at the Bowman Funeral Home at 10254 West Carlton Bay Drive, Boise, Idaho 83714 at 1:00 PM MST on Friday, February 18, 2022. All are welcome.
