Kimberlee Kae (Shrum) Campbell, 66, passed away on September 8, 2026, in Boise, Idaho.
Kim was born in Boise, Idaho on June 1, 1960, to Elbert Lee Shrum and Karen Mae (Miller) Shrum. She attended Pierce Park Elementary, Hillside Junior High and Capital High Schools, graduating in 1978. While in High School, she was in the drum line in the marching band.
Kim married Dan Campbell in April 1980. Dan taught Kim how to drive a semi-truck and together, they travelled the country, making it to 42 of the 50 US states. They built a home in Eagle, Idaho and had 2 children, Chelsey in 1988 and Jason in 1993. In 1995, they started their own trucking company, D Bar K Trucking and Kim ran operations from home while raising her 2 children. Dan and Kim divorced in 1997 and she moved back to Boise, Idaho.
After the divorce, Kim lived for her kids. She never missed any school performance, soccer game or choir competition. She enjoyed traveling and going on many road trips with her sister and her kids. Kim had many hobbies including crafting, painting, crocheting, 4-wheeling, camping, and playing cards. She loved her family, but her favorite people were her grandchildren.
Kim loved her Lord Jesus. She attended church occasionally with her grandmother but did not regularly attend church until after her divorce. She attended Foothills Christian Church and made this church her home for a few years. There she joined the church choir with her mother, sister, daughter, and niece.
After Kim retired from St. Luke’s in 2020, she loved being a grandmother and continued to keep a busy schedule. She stayed connected with friends and would meet up for lunch. She would often make trips to Twin Falls to watch Axel play soccer and basketball and babysit Aspyn. She loved spending time with Naomi & Eden doing crafts and crocheting. Recently, she was helping Chelsey plan a baby shower for Jason & Nadia and their baby boy.
Kim is survived by daughter Chelsey Coon (Jason), Jerome, Idaho; son Jason Campbell (Nadia), Nampa, Idaho; sister Terri Humann (Steve), Hermosa, South Dakota; niece Autumn Haney (Ben) Longmont, Colorado; grandchildren Naomi, Eden, Axel & Aspyn, and a grandson due in January 2027. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
