Kevin Patrick Seibert, 32, passed away on November 8, 2025 after living with epilepsy following the removal of a brain tumor in 2015. Despite the battle he fought everyday, he was always optimistic and kept his focus on what he cared about most: friends and family.
Kevin was born on December 16, 1992 to Michael and Mary Jo Seibert in Boise, Idaho. Kevin spent his childhood in Eagle, ID, and after graduating from Bishop Kelly High School in 2011, he went on to study Anthropology (but really play lacrosse) at Carthage College and University of Utah.
Kevin’s character was defined by his love for his family and his friends. His true passions were being an (f)uncle to Sophie and Elliott, and coaching lacrosse to spread his love for the game. Kevin had a deep admiration for his parents, Mike and Mary, and carried even more joy in his last years with his girlfriend, Andrea. His fierce loyalty for those close to him was opposed by a pessimistic and embattled following of every sports team he liked. Skol Vikes.
Kevin is survived by his grandfather, Gary Seibert; parents Michael and Mary Jo Seibert; brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Alyssa Seibert; brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Sarah Seibert, niece Sophie and nephew Elliott; and his dog Rufus.
Service will be held at St. John's Cathedral in Boise on November 21, 2025 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at Quail Hollow Golf Course from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. A fund has been established in his honor to support and establish a lacrosse memorial. Donations may be made to Honoring Kevin Seibert Through Lacrosse on GoFundMe.
