Kathryn Mae Tankersley was born In Enterprise OR Dec 10, 1934, to Jim and Fay Weaver. She graduated from Enterprise High School and went on to attend the Twin Falls Business College in Twin Falls ID where she graduated with high honors. She worked as a full charge bookkeeper for multiple businesses, finally retiring from Capital Lumber Company, Boise.

Kathryn met Dale R. Tankersley in September 1954 in Twin Falls on a blind date. They were married on Aug 21, 1955.

Although she struggled most of her life with rheumatoid arthritis, she never let it keep her down. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her life. She and Dale enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii, but foremost to visit family and friends across the country.

Kathryn was an accomplished seamstress until her arthritis no longer allowed her to sew.  She also enjoyed reading and was a crossword puzzle whiz.  She looked forward to Saturday Happy Hour with dearest friend Betty Graves and Cocktail Club with her granddaughter and husband, Annie and Joe Pickett.

She is survived by husband Dale of the home, daughter Wanda Gustafson, Eagle ID, daughter Yvonne Tankersley-Smith and her husband Brad Smith, Eagle ID, and son Russell Shane Tankersley and his wife Sonya, Arlington WA, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents and an infant son.
