Kathleen Schrecongost

Kathleen Schrecongost, 80, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. She was born on August 22, 1945 in Ontario, Oregon to Merlin and Fern Fagan. Kathleen was raised in Payette alongside her siblings Lorraine, Sheryl, Clark, Robert, and Gerald in a close-knit family that remained an important part of her life.

Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She survived by her loving husband, Gary Schrecongost, and her children Shannon, Paige, Mark, and Todd, all of whom have families of their own. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a great source of pride and joy in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Merlin and Fern Fagan, all her siblings, Lorraine, Clark, Sheryl, Robert and Gerald. As well and her son Kelly and her grandchildren, Brooke and Braden.
Kathleen will be remembered for her strength, deep faith, warmth, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 661 SW 12th St
